Are we there yet?

How many sleeps until the country’s restrictions are fully lifted? 17 months after the first lockdown, the nation is in a completely different place than it used to be. People are still on furlough and haven’t worked for a long time. People have been offered vaccinations for a disease that doesn’t want to go away. Schools and education have and are still been disrupted by the virus. Masks are still being worn, although, some people use them as chin warmers! People are still using their kitchen table as their office. Cinemas and theatres are not to full capacity; however, football stadiums are. Outdoor events are either going ahead with limited attendance or have been cancelled until further notice or until next year. Shops on the high street are laying empty while online stores are giving delivery times of several weeks after orders have been placed. Are we there yet? Nearly, fingers crossed.
