On the 21st April 2017, I gave ‘birth’ to and took a big leap and jumped into the world wide web called Angelicapoems.
It had been a dream of mine for a very long time to put my poetry on a website and with the help, firstly from Paul and then Bijal, I was able to do this.
There were lots of obstacles – things not working properly, lots of hard work - sometimes I woke up at 1 or 2 am and thought of the things that needed to be added or changed on the site.
It was my baby for several months; it continually needed to be watered, fed and burped. It gave me lots of sleepless nights which left me very exhausted, then going through the teething stages; the rewards of seeing it grow, adapt and be something that I am proud of is priceless.
The conceptual idea was easy but the delivery was very long, hard at times; wanting it to stay how it was, however, it was pure determination, patience and self discipline that had got it to where it is, as well as the continued support from friends and family.
So happy birthday Angelicapoems; I hope that you continue to grow and help those that you seek to help.
