Keeping busy – keep talking

With another lockdown and my work being cancelled, I have had to make sure that I am keeping busy. Every two days I go for a long walk and get some shopping along the way. I also listen to a lot of music and sing aloud, badly. Doing some art has also helped me through the long days. Of course, there is always housework too, however, that is boring.

Like a lot of people around the world my routine has been disrupted; I know and understand why, however, keeping motivated and busy can be hard. There will be a time when this nightmare pandemic will be in the past, until then, we must all make sure that we are able to talk to others about how we are feeling and know that we are not alone in our feelings. Whether it be a feeling of grief, loss of employment, not seeing family members, or whatever we maybe going through, there is help out there. I am fortunate that I have someone to talk to, a lot of people don’t.
