Having worked from the age of 16; flexible hours, part and full time, my head has now thought about the time that I retire. Having had so many jobs and different pension schemes along the way, I have spent time looking at how not so rich I will be as a pensioner. I am thinking of what I can do to make my pensionable years manageable, God willing I live long enough.
What should I cut back on? Should I put more into my pension pot?
I still have many years until retirement, so, fingers crossed the stocks and shares will go up and stay up. However, in the meantime, I am trying not to engage in too many expensive activities – as I need to save some money for the future.
