Half term is here again, however, there is nowhere for the children to go. Those who are fortunate, can play in their back garden, make a tent and camp. Those who don’t have a garden, will hopefully, get to walk around local parks and woods and get fresh air.
For parents who are home schooling, it will be a little break from being the school teacher who is looking forward to not being asked questions on subjects they have long forgotten about. However, for some, home schooling has been a fantastic bonding session with their child. Hopefully, this will be the last half term break where all activities for young people will be closed. I hope and pray that come Easter that the majority of people will be vaccinated and people will still be sticking to ‘hands, face and space’ so that some normality is not too far around the corner.
Whatever you are doing, enjoy!
